UN Somalia Assistance Strategy 2011-2015

The UN Somali Assistance Strategy (UNSAS) set the framework for the work of UN agencies, funds and programmes from 2011 to 2015. The UNSAS was based on the national Reconstruction and Development Programme (RDP) as well as a context analysis. The Strategy was the foundation for UN planning for 2011-2015. The UNSAS was designed to be flexible in the face of volatile political and security conditions and  focused on the development goals of the Somali people and their governments.
