UN in Somalia's Nexus factsheet

Implementing the humanitarian-development-peace nexus is a priority in Somalia. Implementation has been most successful where humanitarian, development and peace actors have a strong incentive to coordinate local activities. In this regard, the United Nations Country Team established three nexus task forces in Somalia in 2020 on the critical areas of (1) Water Management – Droughts and Floods, (2) Durable Solutions for displacement-affected communities and (3) Anti-Corruption
