UN Somalia Gender Equality Strategy 2018-2020

The UN Gender Equality  Strategy 2018-2020 is set to contribute towards realizing gender equality and women’s empowerment through the United Nations’ support to Somalia’s national priorities. The main objectives of this Gender Strategy include enhanced gender equality and women’s empowerment results delivered by the United Nations’ work in political, development and humanitarian settings; a gender equal and empowering environment for all UN staff in Somalia; and strong leadership for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
